Amsterdam offers a lot of activities, places to visit and things to do. Undoubtedly one of the must-do’s in Amsterdam is a visit to one of
the several flea markets located around the city centre and perhaps while there pick up a Dutch souvenir or a bargain either for yourself or your family or friends as a present . Amsterdam has about 12 permanent markets and some others which open during certain period of the year.
Most of the markets are open during normal business hours as long as the weather permits. Generally if it’s raining or gets too windy, most of the stalls do not set up. Always keep an eye on your personal belongings while strolling the markets as markets are the best hunting grounds for pick-pockets!

town. The range of choice varies from general domestic appliances to local specialties such as the famous Dutch cheese and the colourful flowers. Albert Cuyp market is Amsterdam’s biggest and busiest while Waterlooplein market is the place to be if one wants to bargain for an item!
